Our LUBODRY® W (WS2) coating, based on Tungsten Disulfide impingement, is biocompatible and resistant to aggressive sterilization procedures, such as autoclave processes or Gamma rays.
We like to see ourselves as both a development partner and a trusted service provider to the medical, dental and pharmaceutical industries. The lubrication of moving parts on medical equipment and prosthetic joints has been our profession for over 20 years.
We offer our clients tailored solutions to take advantage of new opportunities in performance and design. Our LUBODRY® W (WS2) coating, based on Tungsten Disulfide impingement, is biocompatible and resistant to aggressive sterilization procedures, such as autoclave processes or Gamma rays. The LUBODRY® W (WS2) process provides real performance to the medical, dental and pharmaceutical industries:
LUBODRY® W (WS2) coating’s structure is very thin, 100% uniform, chemically inert and does not migrate. Our LUBODRY® W (WS2) process, specifically developed for the medical / dental / pharmaceutical and food industries, does not affect the dimensions of workpieces and equipment. While it does not create extra thickness, our LUBODRY® W (WS2) process is used for high-precision instruments and requires no extra machining after being processed in our facilities. Not subject to Gamma radiation nor Ethylene Oxide, our LUBODRY® W (WS2) process is widely used for the lubrication of components of surgical instruments, medical and dental equipment, and punches of tablet presses.
IN ADDITION TO TANTI-FRICTION, ANTI-WEAR, ANTI-SEIZING AND ANTI-ADHESION PROPERTIES, THE LUBODRY W (WS2) DRY LUBRICANT PROCESS HAS THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES:
