LUBODRY® dry lubricants processes are 100% inert and migration-free coatings. With operating temperature ranges from -250 ° C through 1 100 ° C (1 500 ° C in vacuum), our innovative coatings improve mold workpieces in order to facilitate the material flow. The temperature and injection pressure are lower, the ejection is carried out more rapidly (shorter cycle time manufacturing) and with less stress (deformation are minimized). The LUBODRY® processes increase your productivity and improve the quality of your production.

LUBODRY® impinged dry lubricant coatings are suitable for all kinds of plastics (nylon, acrylic, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, polyamide, PBT, polystyrene, acetal, etc.), as well as aluminum, composite materials and rubber.

Graphite micro-particles are impinged at the substrate surface of molds and act the same way as a thin fluid lubricant film, but without greasing the mold workpieces nor creating extra thickness. Our impinged Graphite-based lubricant process supports very high pressures with no arm to its lubricating properties. Since our processes also have excellent anti-adherent properties, they facilitate cleanup of residual deposits relating to the injection.

Anti-seizure and anti-adhesion technology:

  • constant lubrication and more uniform injection cycles
  • improved material flow during mold filling operations
  • reduced release efforts
  • migration-free (does not migrate on castings)
  • release agents and rinsing operation not required before plating, painting, screen printing or hot stamping processes
  • increased production rates by 10% to 20%
  • increased lifespan of molds and other tools
  • limited maintenance operations and relating costs
